Take a Break

Dearest of bike friendly friends.  We hope you wound up your semester- year- and Holiday season on a good note.  Nothing more important than time with the fam- especially after a long semester.

We are really looking forward to SP/10 and encourage you to come contribute this semester so we can continue to grow our group of friends while we eagerly await Spring and we can collectively do that thing where you try to think about what it’s like to wear shorts outside but it’s hard to remember.

Rest up- stay dry and warm and Look for more from us the first week of classes!

You’re Almost Done!

FINALS

Bike Your Way to Sanity this Finals Week!

Do yourself a favor and get some of that stress out this weekend.  There is no question as to the benefits of physical activity on the mind.  It’s relaxing, stress relieving, and will actually help you be more productive and organized later on.  If you’re not familiar with GOOD then check out this post citing the Department of Health report that proves riding a bike is a great stress and distress deterrent.

City of Boston: Boston Bikes Survey

Boston Bikes Survey

The City of Boston bicycle program Boston Bikes has posted a surveymonkey regarding what it is really like to ride in our fair city.

Boston Bikes is a subset of the Boston Redevelopment Authority, and is headed by Mayor Menino’s “Bike Czar” Nicole Freedman; this is the group responsible for the BU bike lanes our friends @BU Bikes enjoy so much and the 500+ Dero Hitch bike racks that have made their way onto Boston sidewalks over the past 3 years.

Anything you can submit will be taken very seriously and applied to Boston streets-  if you’re trying to kill time avoiding your 25pg. dissertation or that powerpoint you were supposed to present last week- navigate over to their survey page and chime in:)
